1. Product description

VR Fluid S Voith hydraulic retarder special oil complies with the German Voith company's certification specifications for retarder oil and is the designated oil for Voith retarder. It is suitable for all series of hydraulic retarders produced by Voith, Germany.

In addition to meeting the special oil standards for Voith hydraulic retarders, it can also meet the following stringent international oil standards: American Petroleum Institute API standards, European Automobile Manufacturers Association ACEA standards, Japanese automobile standards JASO standards.

Applicable to all series of VOITH retarders, some models are as follows: VR115CT, VR115CN, VR133-2, VR120E, etc.

2. Oil change guide for Voith retarder: Take VR115CT retarder as an example

(1) Prerequisites and safety matters for oil draining and refueling of Voith retarders:

1. The vehicle is parked in a horizontal position and the oil temperature is >60°C.

2. The retarder and ignition switch are off, be careful of hot oil

(2) VR115CT oil drain and refueling rules:

1. Put a container under the retarder

2. Unscrew the screw plug (2110) and the sealing gasket (2120)

3. Unscrew the screw plug (4050) together with the sealing gasket (4070) and O-ring (4060)

4. Put the oil in the container and analyze the oil

5. Apply silicone-free and non-corrosive grease to the new O-ring (4060) and new gasket (4070)

6. Tighten the screw plug (4050) to 30 Nm

7. Add 4L oil slowly (>2 minutes) through the hole of the screw plug (2110) to ensure that the retarder can be exhausted through the oil hole.

8. Wait about 2 minutes

9. Slowly (> 2 minutes) add 2.4L oil

10. Apply silicone-free, non-corrosive grease to the new gasket (2120)

11. Tighten the oil drain plug (2110) to 130 Nm

3. Other matters needing attention:

1. The retarder oil change interval is 60,000 kilometers.

2. The O-ring and gasket must be replaced at the same time every time you change the oil.

3. The oil separator (3101) must be replaced every 2 oil changes
