Common faults and judgment methods of ABS system

ABS fault judgment method:

1. Turn on the key, lightly step on the brake pedal, release the hand brake, listen to the exhaust sound of the solenoid valve, and observe whether the self-test of the ABS warning light is normal

2. If the light is always on, carry out fault diagnosis

3. If the light is not on, perform a full brake test run at about 30Km/h, observe the dragging situation, and check the system (circuit and air circuit) if the dragging is abnormal

4. If the system is normal (circuit and air circuit) but the dragging is not normal, consider the mechanical reasons of the whole vehicle, the return force of the air chamber, the clearance of the brake, the thinner or longer pipeline between the solenoid valve and the brake air chamber, etc. . In addition, for 8X4 vehicles, it is recommended to add a relay valve control to the pipeline of the front axle (see the diagram on the next page for details)
